Dr. Keller was born and raised in Crystal Lake, Illinois. She earned her Bachelor’s of Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, majoring in molecular and cellular biology. She completed her graduate education at the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago where she was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honor Society. Her clinical training included rotations at Jesse Brown Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Chicago, ocular disease and pediatrics at the Illinois Eye Institute, as well as primary care and contact lens at private practices throughout the Chicagoland area.

She received her Doctorate in Optometry in 2012 from the Illinois College of Optometry and went on to complete a post-graduate residency in primary care and ocular disease at the Illinois Eye Institute. In this additional year of training, Dr. Keller gained experience in primary care, ocular disease, ocular emergencies, pediatrics and contact lens, as well as co-managed pre- and post- surgical cases while working alongside ophthalmologists. In 2016, Dr. Keller earned her fellowship in the American Academy of Optometry.

Dr. Keller resides in Crystal Lake with her husband Christian, who is an anatomy and physiology teacher and coaches football at Palatine High School. They have three children--Kaden, Mila, and Charley. In their free time, they enjoy spending time with family including their seven nieces and nephews, skiing and traveling to their family cabin. As a long-time Crystal Lake resident, she is happy to be home and active in the community. Having grown up with her father influencing her desire to treat and care for patients, it has been an honor to join the family practice!
